The Bold & The Beautiful...Red Carpet Style

The look that had everyone talking about the red carpet this year

was "Modern Family's"Sofia Vergara. 

She wows in this beautiful coral Vera Wang gown. 

But it wasn't the gown that captivated everyone's attention,

it was her BOLD earrings. 

Ms. Vergara is quoted as saying

Pearls never go out of style and never disappoint! They are a staple in every woman's wardrobe from elegant and chic to edgy and sexy.




Pearls are one of the earliest gemstones found, most likely along the coastline of India. They've been used for personal adornment and enjoyed throughout the world for thousands of years.

Most pearls today are cultured. Marine and freshwater mollusks (oysters and mussels) are collected and a small shell bead placed inside. The mollusks are then returned to the water where they make the pearl. It takes approximately 3 to 7 years for mollusks to produce a single pearl!
